Well, the title is pretty self explanatory. No time for more. As you can see it's an 'old' sketch I did as part of an inspirational bunch for a project of mine.
Good to see you posting again . Nice way to get back to it . I like seeing exploratory stuff ..you get to see how people think and tackle certain aspects .

Lovely face shapes! All those -lines-...the one on the right looks like a musketeer or a pirate, and the other looks like a Roman senator - or a less-drunk pirate. ;)

Hi Marcos! These are great. I really love the silhouette of the one on the left. I like the quick, confident marks too. Congrats on the move to Dreamworks also!!
Creo que nunca llegaré a tener un trazo tan potente, tienen un aire épico y la asimetría de la anatomía real (yo me entiendo). El personaje joven me recuerda un poco a dibujante Serpieri (el de Drunna, la supermujer neumática) en el trazo de las sombras.Muy bueno!!!!
Es que todavía no lo sabíais: Marcos es "The Lord of the shadows" !! Es el Master del universo de la luz y la sombra... And MANDRALISCA, I think thats imposible, to be like Marcos, not even at 90 years old... I give you my word, Marcos'pupil

Lo de Serpieri es curioso porque aunque nunca segui sus comics, si te dire que uno de mis heroes de juventud y maximas fuentes de inspiracion fue (y es) Antonio Hernandez Palacios de quien, para mi, Serpieri saco su estilo.
