Here is an image that came to my head this morning thinking of my home town. It is not a particular street, alley or corner, but it certainly feels like it could be any one of them in what is called 'casc antic', or 'old town'.
Most buildings there are from the 1700's 1800's, and were mostly inspired and designed by italian architects of the time. In fact, walking around these streets one can see the resemblance with certain secluded areas of cities like Venice.

Very nice and peaceful atmosphere in this sketch.
Looks like the sort of place where I'd like to be right now :)
Wow, it's great! You are the composition king.
great....line.....
¡Qué chulo!
Es genial. Por cierto, ya tengo tu libro. Sólo he tenido tiempo de hojearlo y me ha encantado. Espero que después de leermelo se note lo que he aprendido.
Gracias!
The thrust of the arch, the contrapuesto shadow angles, the color blue from skies hinted at behind the bike, it comes together sooooooooo nicely! The depth of field really comes across best in the small version.
Precioso, Marcos!
If I drew my home town, it would somewhat pale in comparison as it would be devoid of the obvious intimacy this image has. Not much architectural stylization to be found in my neck of the woods that's inspired by the either the 1700's or the 1800's. It's mostly modern, neo-classical, or bland industrial. This is some nice work.
Me recuerda a los largos paseos que me daba desde la escola hasta el parc de la mar en las horas muertas :)
Great sketch! Looks like a great place to visit.
Wow :o
Es una pasada... compo, luz, linea, peso...y es muy cálida! ^^

I also feel there is something appealing about the small version.

-Thanks for the visit and comment Arnold. I'm sure any sort of line and sense of structure can be potentially appealing, although I agree this sense of intimacy you are talking about could be easly diluted or lost in certain environments.
